Job description
Our client, a company specializing in the reconditioning and sale of high-tech industrial machinery, is looking for a senior service technician to join their small, close-knit team in Saint-Jérôme, in the Laurentians.
✨ What the position offers:
Salary of $35 to $40/hour depending on experience (up to $42 for a team leader profile)
2 to 3 weeks of vacation depending on experience
Tedy Health Account: $100/month
Cell phone rebate: up to $60/month
Per diem while traveling: $50/night + $75/day for meals

Responsibilities
Diagnosing and resolving complex faults on high-precision machines
Working on mechanical and electrical systems (drives, servomotors, controllers)
Provide remote technical support (phone / TeamViewer)
Reconditioning and installing machinery in the workshop and at customer sites
Train customers on the operation and programming of the equipment
Mentoring junior technicians and contributing to the team's development
Criteria
DEP or DEC in electromechanical systems automation — or equivalent experience
5 to 10 years of experience in industrial technical services
Experience with CNC machines — highly desirable
Solid expertise in electrical control, mechanics and automation
Skills in electronics and industrial computing
Bilingualism (French-English) — required
Personal vehicle — required
Availability for travel to the United States — required
Resourcefulness and independence — essential
