Job description
This accounting firm supports a diverse client base of SMEs and non-profits in assurance, tax, bookkeeping, and management advisory services. This role is at the heart of the firm's assurance practice: you will carry out review, audit, and compilation engagements that build client confidence and reinforce the reputation of a young, dynamic, and stable team. This position offers real potential for growth, in a context where one of the partners is approaching retirement with no internal succession yet in place.
Responsibilities
- Participate in review, audit, and compilation engagements, in compliance with accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE), auditing standards, and quality control standards
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for a varied client base, including several self-employed professionals in the healthcare sector and clients with investment portfolios
- Review and/or prepare tax returns for corporations, individuals, and trusts
- Contribute to audit engagements for non-profit organizations and review engagements across various industries
- Respond to client questions and concerns, and support the team across various engagements
- Manage multiple engagements simultaneously and, with experience, become the primary point of contact for your own client files
Criteria

- Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA auditor designation (or in progress)
- More than 2 years of experience in accounting firms in assurance, ideally with experience in review and audit engagements
- Excellent command of French, spoken and written; bilingualism an asset
- Knowledge of CaseWare/CaseView and Taxprep, an asset
- Autonomy, team spirit, and ability to build strong client relationships
Position type: hybrid — 3 days remote / 2 days in office
