Notre client, une PME québécoise bien établie dans le secteur manufacturier, est à la recherche d'un(e) responsable des achats et approvisionnements pour soutenir ses opérations, sa production et son ingénierie.

Responsibilities
Plan purchases according to the needs of the ERP system, stock levels, and production priorities.
Prepare and send requests for quotations to suppliers, compare bids and recommend the best choice based on cost, time and quality
Issue purchase orders, confirm delivery dates, and follow up with suppliers until delivery.
Perform BOM-related transactions in the ERP system according to customer orders.
Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts, limit surpluses and support stock turnover
Coordinate inventory counts, analyze discrepancies, and make adjustments in the ERP system.
Maintain supply data in the ERP system (suppliers, prices, lead times, minimum quantities)
Criteria
DEC in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering or administration (or a combination of studies and experience)
Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory management in a manufacturing environment
Perfectly bilingual (French & English, spoken and written) — exchanges with suppliers outside Quebec
Proficiency in Excel and an ERP system
Ability to read and interpret supplier quotes, plans, bills of materials and specifications
Rigour, autonomy, organizational skills and sound business judgment
